Rationale
I really enjoyed this brief exploring the various programs and plugins and how to configure and assemble different graphics. had a go at green screening and using scripts in maya. i wanted to produce a thrilling teaser which gets viewers excited or wanting more from a a short clip. i chose to do a small teaser for a sci fi thriller about a mysterious species which invade Asia/Pacific and have come for the judgement of humanity in the form of a test. i used various keying techniques to produce textures and effects to cater to the environments.
Editing
I have gone with a follow through with the camera guiding you through the narrative with effects helping out with mood and theme dynamics. i wanted it to be a teaser so it builds up and leave the viewer with a hook to make them want to find out more.

Semester Break Plan
Time Line Update*
Over the Middle Weekend i plan to Jump on the Opportunity of having all the cast in wellington in one weekend so that will be a great time to plan to capture all my clips in one go. praying for good weather

Mid Semester Rationale
My Special Effects i will use various layer strategies to
emulate environment effects as these will be a huge
factor to the authenticity of my piece. i will use accurate
motion and camera tracking to find crip outlines of my
overlapping effects. i will use a series of particle effects
to build up my dust streaks and air effects with the drop
pods. i have chosen to create a 3d maya model of the
drop pod which will add a further 3d dynamic and will allow
me to get correct lighting choices. my visual style will
highlight the simalar 2005 War of the Worlds by Steven
Spielberg
